Thursday 24 August 2017, 11 a.m.: I'm participating in the Baillie Gifford Schools Programme at the Edinburgh International Book Festival, in a presentation aimed at S1-S3 students on The Pearl Thief and entitled "A Very Scottish Mystery." Thursday 31 August to Saturday 2 September 2017: Guest author at LeakyCon 2017, Dublin. I'm scheduled on panels & events for just about every second that I'm there, so you'll get your money's worth if you want to hear me blethering about books and writing!
Sunday 3 September 2017, 5.00 p.m.: I'll be reading from The Pearl Thief and signing books at the Innerpeffray Library near Crieff, as part of the Perth and Kinross Doors Open Days celebration. The Innerpeffray Library is fictionalized in The Pearl Thief as "Inverfearnie," and there will be a literary treasure hunt connected to The Pearl Thief that weekend for Doors Open Day visitors.
